BLINI (YEASTED)

  • 2 Cups Warm Milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 
In a bowl, pour the warm milk, disolve the sugar in it and andd the yeast.  Let it stand for aout 10 minutes to let the yeast to active,  add the salt, egg and the flour, starting in the middle with whisker, start mixing,  from the middle of the bowl, mix until batter is smooth, with no lumps.  If you have lumps, pour the batter through a sifter, to get rid of them.  Finally, add the oil and mix well. Cover bowl with plastic wrap.

Put the bowl in a slightly warm oven and let it stand for about an hour. Slighly grease a heavy frying pan, heat on medium high setting, when the pan is hot, add the about 1/4 cup of the batter, once the top seems try, turn it over.
